Sarg...I know PCSO's do have the power NOW....BUT....on my old power set we did NOT. We could issue FPN's for cycling on the footpath but on the course I did for 8 days(waste of time), that was when they told us we were designated with the power to stop cycles as technically we did NOT have it befor...

For some reason my reply was removed.... I said I thought that once trained/designated PCSO's could issue S59 warnings but did not technically have the power to actually stop the vehicles. Sec. 59 comes with the power to stop vehicles, and makes it an offence for the driver not to do so.

I won't even waste my bandwidth watching it. Have you noticed that Eastenders now has one token PCSO, eveytime I've seen him, he's giving directions. Single patrol in East London, hmmmm!! I did it when I was a PCSO....not that big a deal...but then my targets were robbery nominals and disqual drive...

after pension and such on a 10% shift disturbance after 2yrs i took home around 1500

refuse to go out without one...what happens if unintentionally you get separated from your colleague or their radio gets knackered?

Should have read...but as she did not take reasonable steps to find the owner then I would lean towards saying she committed the offence by deciding not to take it back to the shop
